Se reedita "The Great Twenty-Eight" de Chuck Berry

Geffen / UMe rendirá homenaje al espíritu inmortal de Chuck Berry, que el mes pasado habría cumplido 91 años, con la última versión en vinilo , de su compilación de grandes éxitos, "The Great Twenty-Eight".

El 15 de diciembre, el álbum se lanzará como una caja de cinco discos,  de edición limitada en vinilo ‘Chess Blue’, limitada a solo 500 copias en todo el mundo,  y disponible exclusivamente a través de UDiscoverMusic.com. El próximo 26 de enero de 2018 , estará disponible , una edición estándar de vinilo negro de amplia edición.

"The Great Twenty-Eight" es un álbum recopilatorio de Chuck Berry, lanzado en 1982 en Chess Records. En 2003, el álbum fue clasificado número 21 , en la lista de la revista Rolling Stone,  entre los 500 mejores álbumes de todos los tiempos, la segunda compilación , en un puesto tan alto,  en la lista después de The Sun Sessions de Elvis Presley.

La Edición Super Deluxe , complementará la compilación original de dos LP,  y 28 canciones con un LP adicional, More Great Chuck Berry, que contiene 14 éxitos más, rarezas y caras B que faltan en el original, así como una rareza en vivo, Oh Yeah! Live in Detroit, disponible en vinilo por primera vez. La colección también incluirá un EP,  de diez pulgadas recientemente creado, Berry Christmas, que presenta cuatro clásicos en edición vinilo de temática navideña.

Reissued:  "The Great Twenty-Eight" by Chuck Berry

Geffen / UMe will pay tribute to the immortal spirit of Chuck Berry, who last month would have turned 91, with the latest vinyl version, of his compilation of greatest hits, "The Great Twenty-Eight".

On December 15, the album will be released as a five-disc, limited edition vinyl "Chess Blue" limited to only 500 copies worldwide, and available exclusively through UDiscoverMusic.com. Next January 26, 2018, a standard edition of black vinyl of wide edition will be available.

"The Great Twenty-Eight" is a compilation album by Chuck Berry, released in 1982 on Chess Records. In 2003, the album was ranked number 21, on the Rolling Stone magazine's list, among the 500 best albums of all time, the second compilation, in such a high position, on the list after The Sun Sessions by Elvis Presley .

The Super Deluxe Edition will complement the original compilation of two LPs, and 28 songs with an additional LP, More Great Chuck Berry, which contains 14 more hits, rarities and B-faces that are missing in the original, as well as a live rarity, Oh Yeah! Live in Detroit, available on vinyl for the first time. The collection will also include a recently created 10-inch EP, Berry Christmas, featuring four classic Christmas-themed vinyl editions.
