Aqui la presentación del pintor
Mi nombre es John Uilenberg , nací ( en 1960 ) en una ciudad llamada Gorinchem en Holanda .
Todavía recuerdo exactamente cómo nació mi interés por el dibujo y la pintura.
Cuando tenía alrededor de los 12 años , estaba buscando algo en el desván de la casa de mi padres .
Entre algunas cosas viejas, encontré una pequeña pintura al óleo. Mostraba a un vaquero que ató las riendas de su caballo a un árbol .
No es exactamente una obra maestra, pero me impresionó. Estudié la escena y descubrí la firma de mi padre.
Hasta ese momento yo no sabía que mi padre había dibujado o pintado algo.
Más tarde, cuando me encontré en la sala de estar le pregunté a mi padre acerca de la pintura.
Mi padre me despidió y le pareció como si yo no estaba exactamente orgulloso de él. Nunca hablamos de la pintura de nuevo y de forma misteriosa desapareció. Debe de haber tirado a la basura.
Nunca me di cuenta , pero esto debe haber sido el momento en que mi mente creativa se activó .
En mi juventud nunca hice un intento serio de dibujo o pintura .
Como muchos otros he esbozado durante las lecciones aburridas en la escuela secundaria y, a veces hice un paisaje en la pintura del color de agua.
Durante mi juventud todo mi tiempo estaba lleno de mi pasión por la naturaleza y la pesca deportiva.
Casi 3 décadas me hicieron pasar más de 1500 horas al año en las riberas del río . Cañas de pescar, la carpa , los halcones , los cebos apestosos gobernaban mi vida. Lluvia , tormenta, frío congelante , nada podría alejarme de mis lugares favoritos.
Hoy en día esta pasión por la naturaleza y la pesca ocupa un lugar diferente en mi vida.
El año 2000 fue un desastre para mí y llegó un momento en que no era posible para mí para pasar más tiempo en la pesca con caña.
Este fue el momento en que tomé la pintura de nuevo. Empecé con pintura de peces, animales y paisajes .
Yo siempre miraba las pintura de retratos y nunca tuvo las agallas para probar.
Duró hasta el verano de 2007, antes de que me di una oportunidad. Decidí empezar con un retrato de Bob Dylan.
Me gustó el resultado y decidí hacer más y más.
En el momento en que pinto una gran cantidad de celebridades. Ahora estoy a punto de decir que estoy más contento con los resultados.

Here the presentation of the painter
My name is John Uilenberg, I was born(1960) in a city called Gorinchem in The Netherlands.
I still remember exactly how my interest in drawing and painting was born.
When I was about in the age of 12, I was searching for something on the loft of my parent’ s house.
Between some old stuff I found a small oil painting. It showed a cowboy who tied the reins of his horse to a tree.
Not exactly a masterpiece, but in a matter of way it impressed me. I studied the scene and discovered my father’s signature.
Up until that moment I never knew that my father had drawn or painted something.
Later when I came down in the living room I asked my parents about the painting.
My father dismissed it and it seemed as if he wasn’t exactly proud over it. We never talked about that painting again and in a mysterious way it disappeared. He must have thrown it away.
I never realized it but this must have been the moment that my creative mind was triggered.
In my youth I never did a serious attempt on drawing or painting.
Like many others I sketched during the boring lessons in high school and sometimes I made a landscape in water color paint.
During my youth all my time was filled with my passion for nature and sport fishing.
Almost 3 decades I did spend more than 1500 hours a year on the riverbanks. Fishing rods, carp, pike, Kingfishers, Buzzards, smelly baits ruled my life. Rain, storm, freezing cold, nothing could keep me away from my favorite spots.
Nowadays this passion for nature and angling takes a different place in my life.
The year 2000 was a disaster for me and there came a time that it was not possible for me to spend time on angling any more.
This was the moment I picked up painting again. I started with painting fish, animals and landscapes.
I always looked up against portrait painting and never had the guts to try.
It lasted to the summer of 2007 before I gave it a shot. I decided to start with a portrait of Bob Dylan.
I liked the result and decided doing more and more.
At the moment I paint a lot of celebrities. Now I am nearly to say that I am more and more pleased about the results.
