El director salmantino presentará "Stealing Summers" en la nueva edición de la Seminci de Valladolid. Se trata de una producción norteamericana rodada en Buenos Aires
Dos años después del rodaje en Salamanca de su segundo cortometraje "La viuda", el salmantino David Martín Porras está logando hacerse un hueco en el complicado mercado cinematográfico. Prueba de ello es "Stealing Summers", su sorprendente debut en el mundo del largometraje junto a dos jóvenes promesas de la interpretación Sophie Auster, hija del escritor Paul Auster, y James Jagger, hijo del mítico vocalista de los Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger.
Ambos actores junto a Wilson Bethel dan vida a tres jóvenes de vacaciones en Buenos Aires que planean robar a la pareja de uno de ellos durante la celebración del famoso derby de fútbol entre Boca y River. Sin embargo lo que comienza casi como un juego acabará convirtiéndose en una violenta aventura que llevará a los tres protagonistas al borde del abismo.
La primera prueba de fuego para Martín Porras será durante la celebración de la próxima Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid (Seminci), donde competirá en la sección "Punto de Encuentro" junto a dos producciones españolas "Camera Obscura" y "Terrados" y la coproducción entre Chile, España y México "La lección de pintura".

Both actors with Wilson Bethel give life to three young men on holiday in Buenos Aires who plan to rob a couple of them during the celebration of the famous football derby between Boca andRiver. But what starts out almost like a game will evolve into a violent adventure that will take the three protagonists to the brink.
