En 1993, A Coruña acogió el mejor espectáculo de su historia, el Concierto de los Mil Años. Aquello fue una lluvia de estrellas sin parangón. Por la ciudad se corrió el chiste de que el nombre obedecía al total de años que sumaba el elenco, formado por veteranos como Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, The Kinks, Dylan, Neil Young, Robert Plant o Wilson Pickett, entre otros muchos. El espíritu de aquel maravilloso acontecimiento se recuperará en los próximos meses. El Palexco de A Coruña, situado al borde del mar, acogerá en los próximos meses el ciclo Leyendas de la música. El ciclo está promovido por Palexco, la empresa Qué Arte, y Carlos Goyarrola, mánager de Van Morrison para España y que ya trajo a A Coruña a estrellas como el ex-stone Bill Wyman, que repetirá con motivo de Leyendas de la música. Todos se han decidido tras el éxito del concierto de John Mayall, veterano músico de blues, el pasado junio en ese mismo recinto, con capacidad para 1.400 espectadores sentados. Para ese espectáculo, se modificó la fisonomía de Palexco, instalando barras a la entrada, lo que también ocurrirá en el ciclo.
Los conciertos comenzarán en diciembre, y la idea es celebrar un mínimo de uno al mes hasta junio. La veteranía y la calidad dan coherencia al plantel, que es espectacular. Muchos ya han estado en A Coruña, pero para otros será la primera vez
