Y así quedó demostrado en el Grange de Edimburgo ayer, donde el baterista vio como Escocia infligía una derrota aplastante a la número uno de Inglaterra con seis carreras en un internacional de un día angustiante. Watts estuvo entre los espectadores después de la actuación de la banda en el Murrayfield Stadium el sábado por la noche.

Los jugadores de cricket de Escocia rompieron el libro  para registrar la mayor victoria en su historia con una sorprendente derrota de seis carreras ante Inglaterra.

Los 4.000 espectadores que se congregaron en el terreno compacto de Stockbridge presenciaron una parte de la historia deportiva en una gloriosa tarde.

As a fan of English cricket, Charlie Watts will be well aware that" you can’t always get what you want". And so it proved at the Grange in Edinburgh yesterday where the drummer watched as Scotland inflicted a crushing defeat on number one-ranked England by six runs in a nerve-wracking one-day international. Having posted a massive 371 with the bat,

Watts was among the spectators after the band’s performance at Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday night. 

Scotland’s cricketers tore up the form book to record the biggest win in their history with an outstanding six-run defeat of England.

The 4,000 spectators packed into the compact ground in Stockbridge witnessed a piece of sporting history on a glorious afternoon.
