Los Rolling Stones comienzan la promoción de su nuevo disco

La banda británica , difunde una cartel de su logo,  pintado de azul , y con un único texto: «Coming October 6»

A través de las redes sociales,  los Rolling Stones están enviando un misterioso mensaje,  que con la célebre lengua que los identifica, en tonos azules, con un único texto: «Coming October 6». 

Se trata de la clásica promoción,  que sirve para crear expectativas ,  en torno a algún asunto , que se dará a conocer en esa fecha. Y con toda probabilidad, el anuncio tendrá que ver,  con el nuevo disco de sus satánicas majestades, dedicado al blues (de ahí el color escogido para el logo), e incluso pudiera ser que se hiciera público,  ese día el primer single. En su web también han colgado un vídeo,  en el que se oyen risas, y sin ningún aviso concreto.

El presidente del sello Blue Note,  y productor del álbum, Don Was, declaró este fin de semana a la «Le Figaro»,  que saldrá a la venta el próximo mes de diciembre, y que consta de versiones de blues de Chicago. Además, comentó que en él , interviene como invitado especial , un especialista en estas lides,  como es Eric Clapton: «Estaba grabando su propio álbum en el estudio de al lado, ¡así que solo,  tenía que cruzar el pasillo para unirse!». Keith Richards, en cualquier caso, ya se había encargado , de adelantar esta circunstancia.

Según Don Was, las canciones suenan «muy crudas, muy auténticas. Capturan la esencia de lo que son ellos». Ron Wood también avisó el pasado mes de abril, durante la inauguración de la exposición,  dedicada a los Rolling Stones «Exhibitionism», en la galería Saatchi de Londres, que este mismo año la banda publicaría,  un nuevo disco y que estaría dedicado al blues. También que constaría de once temas, y que entre los autores versionados,  se encontraban Howlin’ Wolf y Little Walter.

Sería, por lo tanto, una vuelta a los orígenes de la banda británica, cuando empezaron a tocar en los garitos de blues londinenses , a principios de los años sesenta. El último lanzamiento discográfico de los Stones , con canciones originales fue «A Bigger Bang», de 2005, aunque el album con recopilaciones :  «GRRR!» , de 2012, también contenía dos inéditos, «Doom and Gloom» y «One More Shot».

The president of Blue Note label, and album producer, Don Was, said this weekend to "Le Figaro", which goes on sale next month of December, and consists of versions of blues of Chicago. He also commented that he intervenes as a special guest, a specialist in these conflicts, such as Eric Clapton: "I was recording his own album in the studio next door, so only had to cross the aisle to join!" .
