Libros Stones . "Satisfaction. Conversaciones con el rock" el nuevo libro de Jacobo Celnik

Hace 50 años la música cambió. Todo empezó en 1965 cuando Bob Dylan, The Who y The Rolling Stones , cruzaron la línea , que dividía la zona de confort , con la experimentación artística. Las canciones:  “Like a Rolling Stone”, “My Generation” y “(I Can´t Get No) Satisfaction” , alteraron el curso de la música popular,  para darle la bienvenida al rock , como género y como estilo de vida.

En Satisfaction, conversaciones con el rock, el lector encontrará testimonios, historias y anécdotas,  de más de medio siglo de evolución de la música y la industria discográfica. También el legado de grandes bandas del rock , como Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Deep Purple, The Doors, Def Leppard, Toto, The Who, Genesis, Cream, Yes, Oasis, entre otros.

El autor del libro , ha perseguido durante más de 10 años , a los 30 personajes,  que dan vida a este libro: músicos, productores y mánagers bendecidos con una memoria prodigiosa,  y una generosidad infinita. El resultado son las conversaciones íntimas y sinceras , con los grandes del rock que  siempre quisimos conocer.

Entre los personajes entrevistados por Jacobo Celnik, se encuentran , músicos y mánagers de la Invasión Británica, uno de los momentos más importantes para la historia del rock, pues en aquel periodo , no solo The Beatles conquistaron los oídos de millones de fanáticos,  a lo largo del mundo, también fue el momento de consolidación de The Rolling Stones. La banda liderada por Mick Jagger , tiene un especial acento en el libro, no solo en el título del mismo, también gracias a personajes como Andrew Loog Oldham, su primer mánager, Dick Taylor, primer bajista y fundador del grupo, el teclista Ian McLagan y la corista Lisa Fischer, todos ellos entrevistados por el autor del libro.

El libro incluye además testimonios muy interesantes como los de Alan Parsons, reconocido ingeniero de sonido británico, responsable de la grandeza del álbum Dark Side of the Moon, de Pink Floyd. También se incluye una interesante entrevista con Jazz Summers, uno de los grandes mánagers del mundo del rock, quien falleció hace un par de meses. Summers fue el responsable de uno de los grandes himnos del rock: “Bitter Sweet Symphony, de The Verve.

Among the people interviewed by James Celnik, are, musicians and managers of the British Invasion, one of the most important moments in the history of rock, for at that period, not only The Beatles conquered the ears of millions of fans, to throughout the world, it was also the time of consolidation of the Rolling Stones. The band led by Mick Jagger, has a special emphasis on the book, not only in its title, thanks to people like Andrew Loog Oldham, his first manager, Dick Taylor, first bass player and founder of the group, keyboardist Ian McLagan and the showgirl Lisa Fischer, all interviewed by the author of the book.The book also includes interesting testimonies such as Alan Parsons, renowned British sound engineer, responsible for the greatness of the album Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd. Also included is an interesting interview with Jazz Summers, one of the greatest managers in the world of rock, who died a couple of months ago. Summers was responsible for one of the greatest rock anthems: "Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve.
