Henry Gray , el blusero que toco con Mick Jagger, será premiado en festival de blues de Hondarribia (España)

Henry Gray, premio Blues Hondarribia 2016

La asociación Blues Hondarribia premiará como reconocimiento a toda una vida dedicada al blues al pianista Henry Gray.

Gray (Louisiana 1925) es una de las últimas leyendas vivientes del Blues,  y durante los últimos setenta años, ha podido acompañar al piano,  a artistas de la talla de: Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Billy Boy Arnold e incluso a los Rolling Stones.

Henry Gray recibirá,  "la Txapela",  durante la celebración,  del próximo Hondarribia Blues Festival,  que tendrá lugar entre los días 14 y 17 de julio.

 Mick Jagger y los Rolling Stones rindieron homenaje a Henry Gray ,  haciéndole tocar en la fiesta de cumpleaños 55 de Jagger en París en el 98, ( despues del show del 25 de Julio en  Stade de France , Paris Francia ) junto con algunas otras leyendas del blues.

The association Hondarribia Blues award in recognition of a lifetime dedicated to blues pianist Henry Gray.

Gray (Louisiana 1925) is one of the last living legends of Blues, and during the last seventy years, has been able to accompany the piano, artists from the likes of Muddy Waters, Howlin 'Wolf, Billy Boy Arnold and even the Rolling Stones.

Henry Gray receive, "the Txapela" during the celebration, next Hondarribia Blues Festival, which will take place on 14 and 17 July.

 Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones paid homage to Henry Gray by having him play at Jagger's 55th birthday bash in Paris in '98  (after the show of 25 July Stade de France, Paris France)  along with a few other blues legends.
