Pentagram responsable del diseño de: "Exhibitionism" , la exposición de los Rolling Stones


En 2015 ya estábamos pendientes de una exposición bastante especial y de su polémico logo. Se trataba de Exhibitionism, la primera exposición en torno a los Rolling Stones, y el pasado 8 de abril por fin se presentó en la Saatchi Gallery de Londres la producción creativa sobre los Rolling Stones tras 18 meses de trabajo; una muestra que cuenta con alrededor de 500 objetos personales de la banda.

La exhibición hace un recorrido por los 50 años de carrera de los Stones a través de un espectáculo visual con el que el visitante podrá conocer el diseño de la escenografía, la vestimenta, la fotografía, la música, los espacios y las ilustraciones que han ido conformando la vida de la banda en ese medio siglo.

Pentagram ha sido la consultora de diseño , elegida para colaborar en el diseño de esta exposición,  de la legendaria banda de rock. El equipo creativo,  que está detrás de  Exhibitionism , son:  Ki McGinity, Patrick Woodroffe, Warren Chapman, Thea Jeanes-Cochrane, William Russell, Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Charlie Watts, Dave Trafford, Tony Cochrane, Abbott Miller, Finn Ross, Ileen Gallagher.

Durante cinco décadas los Rolling Stones , han ido reinventándose continuamente como músicos, como profesionales del espectáculo,  y como icono cultural, transformando la música, el arte, la moda y la cultura popular. Este increíble legado , es el que se ha querido mostrar en Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones, y para poder hacerlo de la mejor forma posible, Pentagram ha trabajado codo con codo , con Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood y Charlie Watts. Mediante un proceso de síntesis , de entornos, objetos, productos multimedia y sonido, Miller y Russel han diseñado,  una experiencia dramática,, que captura el espíritu revolucionario de los Stones.

La exposición, a través de sus instalaciones temáticas, que ocupan hasta dos pisos, presenta un viaje narrativo muy envolvente,  por los 50 años de trayectoria profesional de la banda. Gracias al diseño,  y a todos los elementos que se presentan, los visitantes se verán inmersos , en la vida del grupo,  gracias a las historias viscerales que incluye, entre otras, la recreación de su infame apartamento en Edith Grove en Chelsea.

En Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones . podrá verse todos aquellos aspectos relacionados con el arte, el diseño, el sonido, lo audiovisual, la moda y las actuaciones. Se incluyen más de 500 artefactos importantes , del archivo personal del grupo. Objetos de todas las fases de la carrera de los Stones como guitarras, instrumentos, ropa irónica, curiosos audios, e inéditos videoclips, así como diarios personales,  y correspondencia, pósters originales,  y diseño de portadas de disco. Los miembros del grupos cuentan con sus propias voces su historia , a lo largo de la exposición, grabaciones que permiten , que sea una experiencia única y personal.

La exposición es itinerante , y podrá visitarse hasta el 5 de septiembre. Después, viajará por otras diez ciudades. El precio de la entrada es de 23.71 euros , y 26.22 euros los fines de semana. Una exposición que, sin duda, ofrece una buena oportunidad , para conocer de cerca a la banda.

Pentagram, responsible for the design of: Exhibitionism, exposure of the Rolling Stones

In 2015 we were already pending a rather special exhibition and its controversial logo. Exhibitionism was the first exhibition about the Rolling Stones, and last April 8 finally presented creative production on the Rolling Stones after 18 months of work at the Saatchi Gallery in London; a sample that has about 500 personal objects of the band.

The exhibition makes a tour of the 50 year career of the Stones through a visual spectacle with which visitors can learn about the stage design, clothing, photography, music, spaces and illustrations have been shaping the life of the band in that half century.

Pentagram has been the design consultant, chosen to collaborate in the design of this exhibition, the legendary rock band. The creative team behind Exhibitionism, are: Ki McGinity, Patrick Woodroffe, Warren Chapman, Thea Jeanes-Cochrane, William Russell, Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Charlie Watts, Dave Trafford, Tony Cochrane, Abbott Miller, Finn Ross, Ileen Gallagher.

For five decades the Rolling Stones, they have been continually reinventing himself as musicians, as entertainers, and as a cultural icon, transforming the music, art, fashion and popular culture. This incredible legacy, is the one that wanted to show in Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones, and to do so in the best way possible, Pentagram has worked side by side with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts. Through a process of synthesis, environments, objects, multimedia and sound, and Russel Miller designed a dramatic experience ,, that captures the revolutionary spirit of the Stones.

The exhibition, through its thematic installations, which take up two floors, has a wraparound narrative journey, the 50 year career of the band. Thanks to the design, and all the elements presented, visitors will be immersed in the life of the group, thanks to the visceral stories that includes, among others, the recreation of the infamous apartment in Edith Grove in Chelsea.

In Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones. You can see all aspects related to art, design, sound, audiovisual, fashion and performances. more than 500 important artifacts, the group's personnel file included. Objects of all phases of the race of the Stones as guitars, instruments, clothes ironic, curious audios, and unpublished video clips, as well as personal diaries and correspondence, original posters, and designing album covers. Members of the group have their own voices their history, over exposure, enabling recordings, which is a unique and personal experience.

The exhibition is itinerant, and will run until September 5. Then he will travel for ten other cities. The ticket price is 23.71 euros and 26.22 euros on weekends. An exhibition undoubtedly provides a good opportunity to learn about the band.
