The Rolling Stones es el primer EP publicado por The Rolling Stones en 1964 (17 de Enero). Esta grabación se lanzó como una prueba del atractivo comercial de la banda antes que Decca Records se comprometiera con ellos para hacer un álbum, The Rolling Stones incluye cuatro temas grabados en dos sesiones separadas entre agosto y noviembre de 1963.

 The Rolling Stones es una serie de covers con algunos de los músicos de R&B favoritos de la banda.

El EP llegó al lugar #13 en el UK singles charts. 

Tres temas nunca fueron lanzados oficialmente en EE.UU. hasta 1972, cuando apareció el disco recopilatorio no oficial More Hot Rocks (Big Hits & Fazed Cookies); "You Better Move On" apareció en 1965 en el disco December's Children (And Everybody's). No disponible durante décadas, The Rolling Stones fue finalmente reeditado en formato CD el año 2004, dentro del box-set Singles 1963–1965 publicado por ABKCO Records.

Some history

The Rolling Stones is the debut EP released by The Rolling Stones in 1964 (January 17). This recording was released as a test of the commercial appeal of the band before Decca Records to commit to them to make an album, The Rolling Stones includes four songs recorded in two separate sessions between August and November 1963.

 The Rolling Stones is a series of covers with some of the musicians in R & B favorites from the band.

The EP came to No. 13 in the UK singles charts.

Three issues were never released officially in the U.S. until 1972, when it appeared the unofficial compilation album More Hot Rocks (Big Hits & Fazed Cookies), "You Better Move On" appeared in 1965 on the album December's Children (And Everybody's). Not available for decades, The Rolling Stones was finally reissued on CD in 2004, in the box-set Singles 1963-1965 published by ABKCO Records.
