Los Rolling Stones repetirán en Hyde Park el repertorio de hace 44 años

Mick Jagger  aseguró a una emisora británica que la banda tiene previsto repetir las canciones de aquel último concierto en el Hyde Park de Londres, celebrado el 5 de julio de 1969.

“Obviamente, la misma lista será utilizada, así me ahorro pensar”, explicó el solista de la legendaria banda que completan Keith Richards, Ron Wood y Charlie Watts.

La banda, 44 años después, quiere repetir el éxito de la histórica jornada en dos sesiones previstas para los días 6 y 13 de julio, para las que ya han agotado las entradas pese a su elevado precio, uno de los pocos elementos que han cambiado con respecto a 1969.

La misma lista pero no por el mismo orden, según matizó Jagger.

“Las pondré (las canciones) en las cajas de las mariposas y allí las agitaré y veré cómo salen y en qué orden”, explicó.

En 1969, los Stones liberaron cientos de mariposas que llevaron en jaulas al concierto, algo que no repetirán en esta ocasión por los problemas que les causaron aquel verano de hace cuatro décadas.

“Tuvimos muchas quejas del parque porque no sabían que íbamos a hacerlo y eran, por supuesto, el tipo equivocado de mariposas” y “los responsables del parque no estaban felices”, recordó.

Los Rolling Stones repetirán este sábado uno de los conciertos más especiales de su dilatada trayectoria, que se vio marcado por la muerte de Brian Jones, guitarrista fundador de la banda fallecido apenas dos días antes.

Mick Jagger told a British radio station that the band plans to repeat the songs of that last concert in Hyde Park in London, held on July 5, 1969.

"Obviously, the same list will be used, thus saving me think," said the lead singer of the legendary band that complete Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts.

The band, 44 years later, wants to repeat the success of the historic day in two sessions scheduled for 6 and July 13, for those who have already sold out despite its high price, one of the few items that have changed compared to 1969.

"I'll put them (the songs) in the boxes of butterflies and there the will shake and see how they perform and in what order," he said.

In 1969, the Stones released hundreds of butterflies in cages leading to the concert, which was not repeated in the present for the problems that caused them that summer four decades ago.

"We had many complaints of the park because they knew we were going to do and were, of course, the wrong kind of butterflies" and "park officials were not happy," he recalled.
