El sueño de miles de peruanos de ver a la banda inglesa The Rolling Stones se está tornando realidad, pues el empresario Stefano Arfinengo, el mismo que trajo al Perú a Aerosmith en 2011, aseguró que las negociaciones van viento en popa.
“Hay un 80% de que vengan a finales de año o a inicios del 2014. En estos días viajaré a Los Ángeles para una entrevista personal y ver cómo avanzan las negociaciones”, señaló Arfinengo a La República.
Las conversaciones para concretar un concierto en Lima se llevan a cabo desde hace dos meses entre cinco empresarios nacionales, y esperan que Mick Jagger dé una respuesta definitiva dentro de dos meses más. “Están analizando las ofertas, pues nunca antes han venido al Perú y es un público desconocido para ellos”, agregó. Aunque fuentes confiables nos aseguraron que la llegada de los Rolling Stones a Perú está confirmada y que recién se hará el anuncio en julio.
Señaló que la banda ya confirmó su show en Argentina donde se han presentado en anteriores oportunidades. El principal problema para traerlos a Perú , explicó, no es el tema económico (pues el grupo tiene una tarifa estandar), sino que los rockeros evalúan las mejores ofertas en cuanto a garantías y calidad de producción.
“También hay que evaluar si habrá asistencia y en qué local sería. Veamos el ejemplo de Lady Gaga que, pese a estar en su mejor momento, su show en Perú fue un desastre. Así que no es solo cuestión de traerlos y ya. Hay que ser más prudentes que antes”, declaró.
