Con perspectiva de hacer en los próximos años un encuentro internacional

Con la vista alzada hacia un encuentro internacional de narradores, en los próximos años, en Nicaragua inició este fin de semana el primer encuentro de narradores del istmo, siendo testigos de este evento, escritores de Francia, Alemania y México, sin faltar los nicaragüenses como Sergio Ramírez, Gioconda Belli y el editor de Opinión de END, Erick Aguirre.

Diez días para conversar sobre la narrativa de Centroamérica, la identidad y literatura, la mutación del lenguaje, la crónica periodística, la novela negra y la similitud entre la narración del istmo y la europea, qué pasa con la edición de los libros en la región, así como la visión de las literatas, estarán siendo discutidas en ocho mesas de diálogo en este encuentro sin precedentes, dijo el escritor y coordinador Sergio Ramírez Mercado.

“Centroamérica Cuenta es fundamentalmente un encuentro de narradores centroamericanos, al cual hemos invitado a escritores, novelistas y narradores de Alemania, Francia y México. Esta es la primera convocatoria que se realiza con el apoyo de los gobiernos de Alemania, Francia, y con el apoyo también de la Universidad de Veracruz y de la Universidad de Nuevo León en México”, señaló Ramírez Mercado

Mesas de diálogo

El escritor nicaragüense manifestó que las mesas de diálogo, que es la modalidad de la actividad, se realizarán en Managua, Granada y León, ciudad donde finalizará el encuentro el 26 de febrero, y donde se conversará sobre “por qué la literatura centroamericana sigue siendo un tesoro por descubrir”.

Entre los 30 autores participantes en el encuentro, destacan Javier Mosquera, de Guatemala; Ricardo Lindo, de El Salvador; Julio Escoto y María Eugenia Ramos, de Honduras; Rodrigo Soto y Carlos Cortés, de Costa Rica; Carlos Oriel y Rosa María Britton, de Panamá; más los invitados especiales como Jacques Aubergy y Sebastian Rutès, de Francia; Timo Berger y Raúl Zelik, de Alemania, y Hugo Valdés, de México.

Por Nicaragua participa un grupo de escritores, entre ellos, Sergio Ramírez, Gioconda Belli, Juan Sobalvarro, Rosario Aguilar, Javier González, Manuel Martínez, Jose Adiak, Ulises Juárez y Erick Aguirre.

Este sábado fue la inauguración y presentación del evento con un coctel de bienvenida en la Alianza Francesa de Managua. Ramírez Mercado espera ampliar un próximo encuentro con narradores de Cuba y de otros países.
