El Presidente de la República, Ollanta Humala, la Primera Dama Nadine Heredia y el líder de los Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, coincidieron en el auditorio del Cuartel General del Ejército para presenciar el concierto de “Serenata de los Andes”.

Según indica la Secretaría de Prensa de la Presidencia, Jagger, interesado en la música peruana, prefirió la discreción, por lo que llegó una vez iniciado el concierto y fue ubicado en un cubículo entre la platea y la mezzaninne que se destina a los traductores.
Ahí se instaló con su esposa e hija. Para evitar ser “descubierto” y abordado por el público, se retiró tan discretamente como llegó, mientras sonaba la última canción de la primera parte.
La persona designada para acompañarlo, afirmó que Jagger quedó gratamente impresionado por el espectáculo que fusiona ritmos andinos con otros de la música peruana logrando un sonido “original y de mucha fuerza” según comentó la estrella de rock.
Por su parte, Jean Pierre Magnet agradeció públicamente la presencia de la pareja presidencial e invitó a la Primera Dama para que los acompañe en la presentación del 10 de noviembre en Nueva York.
“Serenata de los Andes”, que incluye a los renombrados músicos nacionales Jean Pierre Magnet y Alex Acuña, será también presentado en el Lincoln Center de Nueva York el próximo 10 de noviembre, iniciándose así la difusión de este espectáculo en el extranjero.
