Mick Jagger su Visita pone en agenda necesidad de conservar la megadiversidad (Peru)

El jefe del Servicio Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado (SERNANP) Sandro Chávez afirmó que la visita que realiza a Puerto Maldonado (Madre de Dios) el cantante y líder de los Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger reviste particular importancia porque pone en agenda la necesidad de conservar nuestra megadiversidad.


“El hecho que Jagger haya decidido visitar Puerto Maldonado revela que no solo es un buen músico sino que sabe apreciar la naturaleza, y que quiere disfrutar de nuestra biodiversidad. Nos está diciendo también que la conservación es clave”, manifestó.


En ese sentido, Chávez afirmó que los peruanos debemos saber valorar lo que tenemos: calidad de agua, climas, microclimas, flora, fauna, etc. “Debemos aprender a aprovechar estos recursos de manera responsable y sostenida”, precisó


“La visita de Jagger pone en la agenda de todos los peruanos la necesidad de conservar los ecosistemas. Y eso hay que hacer para que otros artistas de su categoría también visiten el Perú, y visiten un Madre de Dios pero mejor presentado y recuperado de los problemas que hoy la aquejan, como la minería informal”, sostuvo
