The Rolling Stones anunciaron sus primeros conciertos británicos en cinco años, incluyendo shows en dos estadios diferentes en Londres.

LONDRES, 26 feb /  The Rolling Stones anunciaron, este Lunes ,  sus primeros conciertos británicos en cinco años, incluyendo shows en dos estadios diferentes en Londres.

La banda, formada por primera vez en 1962, es uno de los actos de gira más exitosos que actualmente funcionan. Como parte de su gira "The Stones - No Filter", tocarán cinco shows en Gran Bretaña, además de conciertos en Alemania, Francia, Polonia, República Checa e Irlanda.

La gira comenzó en septiembre y ha visto a la banda tocar en más de una docena de shows en países europeos hasta el momento.

"Es una gran alegría tocar con esta banda, no nos detiene, solo estamos empezando realmente", dijo  Keith Richards, en un comunicado.

De acuerdo al adelanto de "Stones Please Don´t Stop" el 6 de febrero de 2018 : 

( http://stonespleasedontstop.blogspot.com.ar/2018/02/the-rolling-stones-incluyen-croke-park.html ) , la nueva etapa de la gira comenzará en el estadio Croke Park de Dublín el 17 de mayo, antes de trasladarse a Gran Bretaña y Europa en junio, antes de los shows finales en Praga y Varsovia en julio.

La banda se presentó por última vez en Gran Bretaña en 2013, cuando tocaron en el festival de música de Glastonbury y en el Hyde Park de Londres.

Esos conciertos , los conciertos de 2018 en Gran Bretaña, fueron unicos y  será la primera vez que la banda recorra su país de origen en 12 años.

La gira del grupo "A Bigger Bang" sigue siendo la segunda gira de conciertos más taquillera de todos los tiempos, recaudando $ 558 millones de dólares de 2005 a 2007, según la clasificación de la revista Billboard.

LONDON, Feb 26 - The Rolling Stones announced their first British concerts in five years, on Monday ,  including shows at two different stadiums in London.

The band, first formed in 1962, are one of the most successful touring acts currently working. As part of their "The Stones - No Filter" tour, they will play five shows in Britain, as well as concerts in Germany, France, Poland, the Czech Republic and Ireland.

The tour began in September and has seen the band play more than a dozen shows in European countries so far.

"It' such a joy to play with this band there's no stopping us, we're only just getting started really," Keith Richards, said in a statement.

According to the preview of "Stones Please Don't Stop" on February 6, 2018: ( http://stonespleasedontstop.blogspot.com.ar/2018/02/the-rolling-stones-incluyen-croke-park.html ), the new leg of the tour will commence in Dublin's Croke Park stadium on May 17, before moving to Britain and Europe in June, before the final shows in Prague and Warsaw in July.

The band last performed in Britain in 2013, when they played at the Glastonbury music festival and in London's Hyde Park.

Those one-off shows aside, the 2018 concerts in Britain will be the first time the band has toured their home country in 12 years.

The group's "A Bigger Bang" tour is still the second-highest grossing concert tour of all time, raking in $558 million dollars from 2005-2007, according to Billboard magazine's rankings.
