Como ya informó "Stones Please Don´t Stop" , "Cuba Stone" , es el testimonio desde tres puntos de vista ,sobre un concierto histórico en Cuba: el 25 de marzo del 2016, The Rolling Stones visitó por primera vez esta isla, y brindó un concierto gratuito. La banda rockera cumplía un sueño. Este es el punto, que enhebra las miradas , del escritor y periodista peruano: Jeremías Gamboa, el periodista argentino Javier Sinay , y el escritor y músico Mexicano ,de Café Tacvba: Joselo.
Ellos nos muestran el mundo interior de espectadores, que volaron con el concierto más allá de lo imaginable, para describir , la crónica de su ligazón con la banda. La crónica de Gamboa, extrapola distintos momentos en Lima, periodos de su infancia, la juventud de su padre a finales de los 60 , con el viaje a La Habana para el concierto.

As previously reported "Stones Please Don't Stop", "Cuba Stone", is the testimony from three points of view, about a historic concert in Cuba: on March 25, 2016, The Rolling Stones first visited this island, And gave a free concert. The rock band fulfilled a dream. This is the point, which sheds light on the Peruvian writer and journalist: Jeremías Gamboa, the Argentine journalist Javier Sinay, and the Mexican writer and musician, from Café Tacvba: Joselo.
They show us the inner world of spectators, who flew with the concert beyond the imaginable, to describe, the chronicle of their bond with the band. The chronicle of Gamboa, extrapolates different moments in Lima, periods of his childhood, the youth of his father in the late 60's, with the trip to Havana for the concert.
A personal and sensory journey, that moves and puts us in their shoes, every moment. With Javier Sinay, we live a journey through the wild heart of the band, and in Joselo, the sensitivity of a musician, especially a fan, who sees their idols up close.

Buen libro lo unico defectuoso que encontre fue la tercer cronica, a cargo de Jeremias Gamboa, destinada directamente a criticar a Fidel y a la revolucion cubana. Digo se podria haber ahorrado varias paginas para hablar de los stones o al menos de musica (como el caso de Joselo). Una lastima que el libro termine hablando infinidad de cuestiones tendenciosas sobre la politica de Cuba. De hecho, no hace ninguna mencion a la cultura, educacion, ciencia, etc y otros grandes logros de la revolucion. Es mas, se la pasa escribiendo sobre el periodo especial, el maleconazo etc etc o sea todas cuestiones negativas. ¿y el Rock and Roll? gracias, te lo debo. Mandar a un cronista a un recital para que hable de cuestiones historicas que uno ya conoce me parece un desproposito y una perdida, de dinero y de tiempo! Un mamarracho!
