El concierto que The Rolling Stones , ofrecieron en el Estadio Centenario de Montevideo, el pasado 16 de febrero, generó la contratación , de más de 3 mil noches hotel , en la capital del Pais.
La mayoría de los turistas, que decidieron visitar Montevideo, a raíz del concierto, fueron argentinos, brasileños y residentes en el interior del país, según datos del Ministerio de Turismo.
La cuantificación económica , de estas noches de hotel , se acerca a los 200.000 dólares, a lo que hay que añadir, la repercusión de estas visitas en restaurantes, centros comerciales, tiendas y otras actividades, lo que puede suponer más de 300.000 dólares adicionales.
Momentos antes que The Rolling Stones , ofrecieran en el Estadio Centenario su concierto, declarado de interés nacional por el gobierno uruguayo, los músicos británicos fueron obsequiados, con una réplica del balón, usado en el Mundial de 1930, el primero que se disputó en la historia, conquistado por la Seleccion de futbol de Uruguay
La entrega del balón, fue realizada por la ministra de Turismo de Uruguay, Liliam Kechichián, acompañada de su viceministro, Benjamín Liberoff, y del viceministro de Economía, Pablo Ferreri.

The concert offered at the Centenario Stadium in
Montevideo, on 16 February, generated the hiring of more than
3,000 hotel nights in the capital.
Most tourists who decided to visit Montevideo, following the concert, were Argentines, Brazilians and residents inside the country, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
The economic quantification of these hotel nights, is about $ 200,000, to which must be added the impact of these visits in restaurants, shopping malls, shops and other activities, which may incur additional $ 300,000.
Just before The Rolling Stones, offered at the Centenario Stadium concert, declared of national interest by the Uruguayan government, British musicians were presented with a replica of the ball used in the 1930 World Cup, the first to be played in the history, conquered by the Uruguay national football team
The delivery of the ball, was made by Minister of Tourism of Uruguay, Liliam Kechichián, accompanied by his deputy, Benjamin Liberoff, and Deputy Economy Minister Pablo Ferreri.
