Uruguay declara de "interés nacional" , el posible concierto de Rolling Stones, a realizarse en el estadio Centenario de Montevideo

El Ministerio de Turismo de Uruguay declaró de "interés nacional" a través de una resolución , el posible concierto de The Rolling Stones que se llevaría a cabo en el Estadio Centenario de Montevideo, confirmaron fuentes oficiales. 

El documento establece que la decisión ministerial , se basa en que este acontecimiento musical, "se trata de un evento cultural de alto valor turístico,  que contribuye a difundir la imagen del país en el mundo". Sería la primera vez que la banda llegaría a Uruguay. 

Desde hace meses, los medios locales , venían anunciando la posibilidad de que el grupo incluyera Uruguay, como una de las etapas de sus giras mundiales, aunque hasta ahora no se ha confirmado, hasta el momento, el sitio web oficial de la banda , no ha anunciado el concierto en Montevideo y el resto de América ,  y solo incluye las fechas de su anterior tour. 

Por una ley de 2012, las actividades culturales que sean declaradas de interés nacional,  por su "trascendencia cultural, artística, turística o departamental" reciben una exoneración,  del "Impuesto al Valor Agregado" (IVA) , sobre las retribuciones de los artistas
