Georgia Jagger encarna a Minnie Mouse en la Semana de la Moda de Londres (FOTOS)

La modelo dirigirá una exposición fotográfica,  en la que interpreta el personaje animado

La moda rinde homenaje, de nuevo, a Minnie Mouse. El personaje creado en 1928,  por el equipo de Walt Disney vuelve a interpretarse: en esta ocasión, Georgia Jagger , encarna el dibujo animado , en un editorial de moda para el número de Primavera/Verano 2015 de la revista Dazed & Confuse.

La modelo muestra su faceta más ingenua y divertida. El resultado ha gustado tanto que se expondrá durante la próxima Semana de la Moda de Londres (18 al 22 de septiembre de 2015).

“Estoy realmente encantada de trabajar en esta campaña y de enseñar,  cómo la cultura popular,  puede ser una influencia en la moda, alentando la creatividad y la pasión", ha dicho Georgia, quien es la imagen visible del equipo,  formado por la fotógrafa Sharif Hamza y la estilista Elizabeth Fraser-Bell. Las prendas,  han sido creadas por Ashley Williams, joven diseñadora británica y colaboradora habitual de Dazed Magazine.

La exposición fotográfica, que se realiza en colaboración con el British Fashion Council, estará dirigida por Georgia e incluirá, también, otras interpretaciones del estilo de Minnie, desde imágenes de revistas de moda,  a trabajos de la propia modelo, que es apasionada de la fotografía.

El personaje de Minnie es divertido, independiente y estiloso, por lo que siempre suscita fascinación,  en el mundo de la moda. Todavía nos llegan a la memoria la interpretación de Irving Penn (2005) y las portadas de la revista LOVE,  para otoño-invierno 2013.

Fashion honors again Minnie Mouse. The character created in 1928 by the team of Walt Disney interpreted again: this time, Georgia Jagger, she embodies the cartoon, in an editorial fashion to the number of Spring / Summer 2015 magazine Dazed & Confuse.

The model shows its most naive and funny side. He liked the result so much that they will present during the upcoming Fashion Week London (18 to 22 September 2015).

"I'm really happy to work in this campaign and to teach, how popular culture can be an influence on fashion, encouraging creativity and passion," said Georgia, who is the visible image of the team, made up of the photographer Sharif Hamza and stylist Elizabeth Fraser-Bell. The garments have been created by Ashley Williams, a young British designer and a regular contributor to Dazed Magazine.

The photo exhibition, held in collaboration with the British Fashion Council, will be led by Georgia and will include also other interpretations of the style of Minnie, from images of fashion magazines, a work of the model itself, which is passionate about photography.

Minnie's character is funny, independent and stylish, so it always raises fascination, in the world of fashion. We still come to mind the interpretation of Irving Penn (2005) and the covers of the magazine LOVE, for autumn-winter 2013.
