Rolling Stones nominados a los Brit Awards 2013

El próximo 20 de febrero se llevará a cabo la 33ª ceremonia de los Brit Awards, cuya edición 2013 tiene entre sus nominados a consagrados como The Rolling Stones, Muse, The Black Keys y The Killers, junto a nombres emergentes, como Alt-J, The Vaccines, Mumford & Sons y Alabama Shakes.

Este jueves 10, la asociación British Phonographic dio a conocer los postulantes que pretenden imponerse en las 13 categorías durante la ceremonia que contará con las actuaciones en vivo de Muse, Robbie Williams, Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard y Emeli Sande.

Muse, Mumford & Sons y la nueva sensación de la isla, Alt-J – ganadores del Mercury Prize 2012 – encabezan la categoría Banda Británica, mientras que en Mejor Acto en Vivo compiten The Rolling Stones (que volvieron a tocar después de cinco años), Muse, Coldplay, The Vaccines y Mumford & Sons.

Los estadounidenses Bruce Springsteen, Jack White y el australiano Gotye destacan en Artista Masculino Solista Internacional, mientras que The Killers, The Black Keys y Alabama Shakes (estos dos últimos estarán en Lollapalooza Chile 2013) destacan en la categoría Banda Internacional.

Americans Bruce Springsteen, Jack White and Australian Male Artist Gotye excel in international soloist, while The Killers, The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes (the latter two will be at Lollapalooza Chile 2013) stand out in the International Band category.
