El Museo de la Casa Concha, que alberga las piezas devueltas por Yale, recibió oficialmente a su primer visitante. Se trata del líder de la legendaria banda The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, quien junto a su familia arribó al inmueble colonial ubicado en el Centro Histórico del Cusco.
Jagger, su novia L'Wren Scott y su hijo Lucas Maurice, fueron recibidos por el rector de la Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco, Victor Aguilar, y por el presidente regional Jorge Acurio Tito, quien declaró al artista británico como visitante ilustre de la región.
Jagger se deleitó con la exposición de piezas inca y vestigios que fueron devueltos este año por la Universidad de Yale, luego de que el explorador Hiram Bingham las encontrará en la ciudadela de Machu picchu y se las llevará a Estados Unidos para estudiarlas.Al finalizar la visita, el cantante recibió como presente un Qero o vaso ceremonial inca, un niño Manuelito esculpido en pasta de arroz y libros ilustrativos del Cusco.
