Old Trafford Football Ground is located on Sir Matt Busby Way in Old Trafford, to the south-west of the city centre and just across the water from Salford Quays.

Getting there on public transport

The nearest train station to Old Trafford is Deansgate-Castlefield, so you'll need to get a tram, bus, or taxi to get to the place.

The Old Trafford Metrolink stop is located next to the cricket ground, rather than the football ground, but it's only a 15 minute walk. You could also alight at Trafford Bar, which is a similar walking distance and has more frequent trams.

Alternatively, you can use the Eccles or MediaCityUK lines and walk over from Pomona, Exchange Quay, or MediaCityUK. This is roughly a 20-minute walk but takes in the scenic waterways in the area.
