 What public transport options are available for travelling to and from the stadium?

A: By Bus

The following services pass close to BT Murrayfield Stadium;

These buses will load/unload on Corstorphine Road, west and east of Riversdale Crescent.

A: By Train

Please plan your journeys, and buy your rail tickets, in advance – not on the day.

Tickets can be purchased on the ScotRail app, at scotrail.co.uk or by calling 0344 811 0141.

Trains are expected to be busy, so please consider aiming to arrive at Murrayfield when doors open at 4pm, to avoid the busiest travel times.

If you're heading to Glasgow from Edinburgh, you may wish to travel via Airdrie / Bathgate (from Glasgow Queen Street Low Level) as this route is expected to be less busy.

Heading home

We’ll run longer trains on many routes through Haymarket after the event, though trains are expected to be very busy.

If you are travelling by train, please make go straight to Haymarket station at the end of the gig.

A queuing system will be in place at Haymarket. Additional staff will be on hand to safely guide you to your next available train, please follow their instructions. You may not be able to join your first choice of train.

Customers who require assistance should report to ScotRail staff at the front of the station.

Edinburgh Trams runs a fast, frequent service to the entrance of BT Murrayfield stadium from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park & Ride, Edinburgh Gateway, Haymarket and the City Centre.

Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at tram stops or on the Transport for Edinburgh App. Edinburgh Trams recommends purchasing return tickets to make your journey simpler. Return tickets are available from tram stop ticket vending machines with options available for both the city fare zone and the airport fare zone. Customers are requested to have their tickets ready for inspection at the gateline, which will be in place at the Murrayfield Stadium tram stop.
