"One More Shot" no entusiasma a la crítica

Londres, 8 nov (EFE).- La crítica británica recibió hoy sin entusiasmo el nuevo sencillo de los Rolling Stones, "One More Shot", una canción fiel a su estilo incluida en el recopilatorio que sale a la venta el próximo lunes coincidiendo con los 50 años de la banda.

El lanzamiento del tema no ha logrado contagiarse de las estupendas críticas que recibió "Doom & Gloom", la primera canción inédita de los Stones en siete años, que fue estrenada el pasado mes de octubre.

"Aquí hay algo que suena más improvisado", señala el crítico de la revista musical británica "NME" antes de asegurar que la canción, estrenada hoy en las radios, será "rápidamente olvidada".

El sonido de "One More Shot" se retrotrae a los primeros años 70 de la banda británica y, para el diario "Daily Telegraph", encaja entre sus temas más conocidos.

Ese diario considera que el nuevo tema "no es grande ni inteligente", pero sí "muy Stones", es decir, "una panda de músicos geniales haciendo rock en el estudio por el simple placer de hacerlo".

Tanto "Doom & Gloom" como "One More Shot" forman parte del álbum de grandes éxitos "GRRR!" que saldrá a la venta el próximo lunes en el Reino Unido, poco antes del comienzo de su gira de cuatro conciertos en Londres y Nueva York tras cinco años alejados de los escenarios.

London, Nov 8 (EFE). - The British critics today received without enthusiasm the new single from the Rolling Stones, "One More Shot", a song true to form included in the compilation that goes on sale next Monday to coincide with 50 years of the band.

The launch of the issue has not been infected by the great reviews it received "Doom & Gloom", the first song of the Stones unprecedented in seven years, which was released last October.

"Here's something that sounds more improvised," the critic of British music magazine "NME" before securing the song, released today on the radio, will "quickly forgotten".

The sound of "One More Shot" goes back to the early '70s British band and, for the newspaper "Daily Telegraph", fits between their most famous.

This paper believes that the new theme "is not big or clever", but "very Stones", ie "a bunch of rock musicians doing great in the studio for the sheer pleasure of it."

Both "Doom & Gloom" and "One More Shot" are part of the greatest hits album "GRRR!" which goes on sale next Monday in the UK, shortly before the start of his tour of four concerts in London and New York after five years away from the stage.
