Ron Wood, se casará por tercera vez, en esta ocasión con Sally Humphreys, una productora de teatro a la que casi dobla en edad, anunció hoy un portavoz del músico.

El músico, de 65 años, y su prometida, 31 años más joven, comenzaron la relación hace seis meses y el anuncio de su compromiso coincide con la vuelta a los escenarios de "sus satánicas majestades", con dos conciertos programados en Londres y otros dos en Nueva York, por primera vez desde 2007.

El diario sensacionalista "The Sun" señala que Wood hizo público su intención de casarse tras confirmar la gira, lo que le ha permitido asegurar su situación financiera.

"Ronnie y Sally son amigos desde hace mucho tiempo. Él siempre se había fijado en ella, pero ella tenía otra relación. Los dos han sido inseparables durante meses y ahora él decidió pasar por el altar una vez más", afirmó una fuente no identificada al periódico.

Este mismo año, Jamie, uno de los cuatro hijos de Wood, afirmó que Sally, de 34 años, no era "una de las mujeres superficiales" con las que su padre solía salir.

"Ella es exactamente lo que él necesita. No creo que él pueda seguir saliendo con mujeres superficiales nunca más", dijo entonces Jamie.

El año pasado, el guitarrista de los Stones obtuvo el divorcio de su segunda mujer, con la que rompió en 2008 tras más de veinte años juntos y dos hijos en común, para iniciar una relación con Ekaterina Ivanova, una camarera rusa de 21 años.

En esas mismas fechas, Wood ingresó de nuevo en una clínica de rehabilitación para lidiar con su adicción a las drogas y el alcohol, que arrastra desde hace varias décadas.

Entre 1971 y 1978, el músico estuvo casado con la exmodelo Krissy Findlay, con la que tuvo a Jesse, su primogénito.
