Let It Bleed is a studio album of British rock band The Rolling Stones. It was published on December 5, 1969 and served as asequel to his successful and critically acclaimed Beggars Banquet, which waspublished last year.
It marks the beginning of the stage as a guitarist Mick Taylor to replace Brian Jones, guitarist, founder and former leader of the band. Jones died during the recording of the work, one month after ceasing to be member of the Stones. Taylor participates in two songs.
Under the production of Jimmy Miller, who also produced their previous LP, the album conceived as a rock album with strong influences on blues and countrypeaked at number three on the Billboard pop albums of the United States as itcame the first in the UK charts.
The surreal cover of the album was inspired by Robert Brownjohn a provisional titleof the book, Automatic Changer ("jukebox").
He is considered one of the best recordings of the band ("his masterpiece" in the words of music critic Stephen Davis) and in 2003 Rolling Stone magazine placed it at number 32 in Rolling Stone List the 500 greatest albums of all time.
