sin embargo el mismísimo libro de Bill Wyman , "Stone Alone" , mencióna al 15 de Diciembre como fecha de debut en la banda :

" Llevamos nuestro equipo al cercano Wetherby Arms para mi segundo ensayo. Esta vez , tal vez relajados por el pescado , las patatas y la charla, todos parecían más simpáticos. Tomé mi viejo bajo de confección casera y ellos parecieron preferir su sonido y apariencia al sofisticado Vox Phantom. No hubo una oferta de trabajo formal, pero parecía aceptarse que estaba "dentro" . Me dijeron que mi primera actuación tendría lugar la noche siguiente, el sábado 15 de Diciembre de 1962, y que fuera a verles al piso.

however the book by Bill Wyman himself, "Stone Alone" says the December 15 date for debut in the band:
"We have our team near Wetherby Arms for my second essay. This time, mayberelaxed for fish, potatoes and talk, all seemed more sympathetic. I took my oldhomemade low and they seemed to prefer the sound and appearance to PhantomVox sophisticated. There was a formal job offer, but seemed to accept that he was "inside." I told my first performance will take place the following night, Saturday,December 15, 1962, and it was to see them on the floor.
