Mick Jagger lideró el aluvión de homenajes de celebridades,  al legendario guitarrista Chuck Berry,

-" Me da mucha pena saber de la muerte de Chuck Berry".

"Quiero darle las gracias por toda la música inspiradora que nos dio. Él iluminó nuestra adolescencia, y sopló la vida en nuestros sueños de ser músicos y artistas.

Sus letras brillaban por encima de otras y arrojaban una extraña luz sobre el sueño americano. Chuck, eras increíble, y tu música está grabada dentro de nosotros para siempre ".

Keith Richards también intervino, dijo en un comunicado: 'Una de mis grandes luces se ha apagado'.

 Ronnie Wood declaró "el fin de una era" en un tweet que llamó a Berry como "uno de los mejores" y "un verdadero carácter".

'His lyrics shone above others and threw a strange light on the American dream. Chuck, you were amazing, and your music is engraved inside us forever.'

Keith Richards also chimed in, said in a statement, 'One of my big lights has gone out!'

 Ronnie Wood declared 'the end of an era' in a tweet that hailed Berry as

 'one of the best' and 'a true character.'
