En La Plata, el choripán le ganó a Paul McCartney
Sobre 32 entre 18 y 19, la gente se agolpa en el puesto de Gustavo y su familia. Allí se puede encontrar el sabor bien argentino de los sándwiches “de cancha” como el choripán, la bondiola y la infaltable hamburguesa.
Pero la noche de hoy , no es una más para los puesteros , entre las tantas que se viven en la zona , cuando hay algún partido de fútbol o recital. En el Estadio toca Paul McCartney, quien tuvo un llamativo pedido, previo al concierto: nada de carne en las inmediaciones del campo.
“Yo lo tomé como que él (por McCartney) no quería que se venda dentro de la cancha”, dice Gustavo.
El hombre, de 55 años, se jacta de tener “los únicos chorizos caseros de La Plata”
Y añade: “Sé que él no come carne, se cuida, y por ahí quiere que lo imiten”. Sin embargo, la gran cantidad de gente que se acerca a los puestos de comida ubicados sobre la avenida 32 dan por tierra con cualquier pretensión del músico.
Para dar una idea del consumo que se espera por la noche, Gustavo explica que compró “90 kilos de bondiola, 200 hamburguesas y 200 chorizos”. “Cuando vinieron los Rolling Stones tenía casi 200 kilos de carne y tuve que salir a comprar más”, recuerda.
José, otro de los clásicos vendedores platenses, contó que a McCartney “no lo escucho la verdad” y fue un poco más “al hueso” al referirse al pedido del artista. “Está loco, si creyó que iba a poder sacar los puestos. No se puede hacer un recital , sin comida en la calle, imaginate con un partido de fútbol. Te matan los hinchas si a la salida no tienen un chori”.
Y no miente José. En los rostros -y en las manos- de los consumidores se ve la evidencia. “Un chori mariposa”, pide uno. Eso sí, “con mucho chimi, por favor”.

Joseph, another classic “platense” (from La Plata) vendor, said about McCartney "I do not listen his music really" and it was a little more "to the bone" (in vain) when referring to the request of the artist. "He's crazy if he thought he would be able to kick out the stallholders. You can not make a concert with no food on the streets, imagine a soccer game.
