The Rolling Stones en Uruguay . Los Rolling Stones tendrán una baldosa en su honor en Montevideo

A través de un comunicado, la Junta Departamental de Montevideo,  anunció que aprobó la instalación de una baldosa,  en el “Espacio de los Soles”, de la Peatonal Sarandí,  en homenaje a los Rolling Stones.

De acuerdo al comunicado, “desde el decreto departamental que da creación al ‘Espacio de los Soles’ en el 2006, el tramo de pavimento,,de la Peatonal Sarandí , comprendido entre la Plaza Independencia y la calle Misiones,  ha venido incorporando baldosas,  con el sol orleado de 16 rayos distinguiendo a figuras tales como:  Nelson Mandela, Cristina Morán, Carlos Páez Vilaró, Olga Delgrossi entre otras”.

En esta oportunidad, el legislativo montevideano , reconocerá a los Rolling Stones , con una baldosa en dicho “Espacio de los Soles”, previo a la visita de la banda a Montevideo , en 2016. El comunicado de la Junta , no indicó en qué fecha se realizará este homenaje.
