Mick Jagger : Carta de Amor a Tish Ladden (1965) en "El Museo de las Cartas y Manuscritos de París"

El Museo de las Cartas y Manuscritos de París , expone las cartas de amor de Saint-Exupéry, Napoleón, Edith Piaf y Mick Jagger. Son 113 misivas que cuentan la pasión, el afecto, el desvelo, la obsesión y también la decepción. En cada letra, en cada tachón, en cada renglón torcido hay una historia. Para entender a las personas, Víctor Hugo aconseja “buscar las cartas” porque ahí están “las marcas del corazón y de la vida”.

En 1965, Mick Jagger escribe en papel de un hotel de Helsinki a Tish Ladden, una joven que había conocido en un programa de televisión,  cuando ella trabajaba para un DJ famoso entonces , y el cantante , empezaba a ser una estrella,  con el tour de "Satisfaction". 

«Pienso en ti a menudo, la mayoría del tiempo», le dice Mick  a Ladden, que subastó las cartas el año pasado en Sotheby’s.

Mick también intenta hacerla reír , en aquellas cartas escritas por la noche,  en medio del tour y con alguna copa de más: «Estoy a 150 kilómetros de Rusia. Demasiado cerca como para decir que soy americano». 

En la misiva, Jagger cuenta cómo en el avión hacia Helsinki, se había divertido provocando a una pasajera estadounidense,  con lo que pretendía ser un chiste: «Lyndon Johnson es un gánster», le había dicho. Ella, escandalizada: «No, no lo es, ¡es nuestro presidente!». «Ya tienen la frase de la semana», escribe Jagger con letra titubeante. Su carta de amor termina con una postdata: «Demasiado vodka».

The Museum of Letters and Manuscripts in Paris, presents the love letters from Saint-Exupéry, Napoleon, Edith Piaf and Mick Jagger. There are 113 letters that tell the passion, affection, watchfulness, obsession and disappointment. In each letter, each stud in each row there is a twisted story. To understand people, Victor Hugo advises "get the cards" because there are "brands of heart and life." 

In 1965, Mick Jagger writes on paper from a hotel in Helsinki to Tish Ladden, a young woman he had met in a television program when she worked for a famous DJ then, and the singer was becoming a star, with tour "Satisfaction". 

"I think of you often, most of the time," says Mick to Ladden.  Ladden letters auctioned last year at Sotheby's. 

Mick also try to make her laugh, in those letters written at night, in the middle of the tour and drink some more, "I'm 150 kilometers from Russia. Too close to say I'm American. "

In the letter, Jagger tells how on the plane to Helsinki, had fun taunting an American passenger, with what was intended as a joke, "Lyndon Johnson is a gangster," he had said. She scandalized: "No, it is not, he is our president!". "You have the words of the week ', Jagger writes letter hesitantly. His love letter ends with a postscript: "Too much vodka."
