Daniel Grinbank afirmó que está negociando para que The Rolling Stones, toquen en Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay, Perú y Colombia a fines de 2014.

Daniel Grinbank, reconocido empresario de la música que trajo a los Stones a Argentina y Sudamérica en las tres oportunidades que vino la banda británica al país (95, 98 y 2006), habló sobre la posibilidad de una nueva gira de sus Majestades Satánicas.

Grinbank contó que quiere volver a traer a los Stones a Argentina "para fines de 2014". "Mi ofrecimiento al manager de la banda (Joyce Smith) con el que hablo asiduamente es que los Stones hagan una gira de 10 shows por seis países de Sudamérica: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay, Perú y Colombia". En estos tres últimos los Stones jamás tocaron en vivo y sería una novedad. El empresario aclaró que "no hay nada concreto, hay una negociación por el momento". Y fue categórico: "Si los Stones vienen a Sudamérica, los voy a traer yo, como ya lo hice en las anteriores giras".

Por otra parte, contó que las principales trabas para que acepten ese ofrecimiento son "las ganas de la banda de seguir girando", "la falta de estadios indoor" en Sudamérica y la reciente muerte del diseñador de los escenarios para estadios de los Stones de los últimos tour, Mark Fisher. Vale decir que los Stones hicieron un tour este año por EE.UU. en los llamados estadios indoor (cancha de NBA) y además tocaron en el festival de Glastonbury y en Hyde Park con escenario fijos de cada uno de los shows. Asimismo Grinbank manifestó que "los Stones igualmente tienen gente que pueda hacer escenarios para estos tipo de megashows".

Grinbank afirmó que "hay una posibilidad firme de que los Stones toquen en marzo del año próximo por Australia y Asia; y luego es posible que sigan girando por el verano europeo. Digo esto porque tengo información de primera mano. Por ahora los Stones se van a manejar por tramos, no giras mundiales". Así desmintió todos los rumores sobre cualquier otro show o tour de los Stones próximamente.
