Su afirmación de que ella no conocía el valor del anillo ha llamado la atención, según él, como su hija, Jade, es uno de los diseñadoras más famosas de gemas del mundo. "Parece increíble que pudiera obtener el valor tan mal", dijo.

Bianca Jagger is embroiled in a bitter dispute in Austria over a diamond and platinum ring that was once valued at £160,000 but she now claims is worth just a tenth of that.
Reinhard Fingler, who found the lost ring in 2008, says he is a victim of a "blatant attempt" to cheat him from getting the full reward and has launched legal action, seeking £8,000.
He spotted the ring in a street in his hometown of Salzburg and initially gave it to his daughter thinking it was just a trinket. Eight days later, he handed it in and asked for a reward.
Bianca, 67, dropped the ring while in the city for a music festival. Under Austrian law, Mr Fingler would be entitled to £8,000 - five per cent of the £160,000 Bianca claimed in her police report that the ring was worth.
She now insists she made a mistake and is offering only £800, saying a jeweller has valued the ring at about £15,000. Mr Fingler's lawyer Alexander Schuberth said: "This is outrageous. I find it bizarre and spurious.
"Where Jagger got the value of the ring as £160,000 seems to be a mystery. That the ring is now being valued at much less is absurd."
Her claim that she did not know the value of the ring has raised eyebrows, he claimed, as her daughter, Jade, is one of the most famous gem designers in the world. "It seems beyond belief that she could get the value so wrong," he said.
It is claimed that in October 2008, Bianca offered to give Mr Fingler £850 and transfer £7,700 to Amnesty International, a deal he rejected.
On Tuesday, a court in Salzburg will decide if Austria has the right to hear the case as Bianca lives in London.
Her Viennese lawyers have refused to comment on the lower valuation
