‘Bad as me’ es el 17º álbum de estudio de Tom Waits, y en él vuelve a desarrollar su talento compositivo acompañado de grandes músicos como Keith Richards, Flea de Red Hot Chili Peppers Flea, David Hidalgo (Los Lobos) y con la habitual presencia de su esposa, Kathleen Brennan, como productora y coautora de las canciones.
la sorpresa es "Satisfied" donde la guitarra le pertenece Keith Richards y es nombrado junto a Mick Jagger, deslizando una réplica a la pieza de los Rolling Stones.
El disco llega hoy a las tiendas después de que la canción que le da título, ‘Bad as me’, saliese a la luz en agosto en un divertido vídeo presentado por el propio Tom Waits. En él, el cantante se quejaba de las filtraciones de los álbumes antes de su lanzamiento: "Es como si en tu cumpleaños llego demasiado pronto y me empiezo a comer la torta, abro tus regalos y juego con tus juguetes, ¿te gustaría?”. Prometió una sorpresa para los impacientes, y la cumplió la semana pasada, permitiendo la escucha en streaming del álbum.
