ATLANTA (AP) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture is making musician Chuck Leavell an honorary forest ranger.


U.S. Forest Service Chief Tom Tidwell was scheduled to bestow the honor upon Leavell at a private ceremony on Monday in Atlanta.


The famous pianist is also a noted conservationist. He co-founded the Mother Nature Network, an online environmental news service.

Keith Richards colabora con K’Naan

El cantante somalí K’Naan alista el lanzamiento de su segundo disco, mismo en el que contará con la colaboración de dos grandes de la música, Bono y Keith Richards.

La segunda placa del cantante africano llevará por nombre ‘Country, God or the Girl’ y será lanzado el próximo 1 de mayo.

El nombre de otros artistas como Will.i.am. y Nelly Furtado también aparecerá en dicho trabajo, quienes tendrán participación en algunos de los nuevos temas .

La carrera de K’Naan tuvo un gran impulso en el año 2010, cuando tuvo a cargo uno de los temas principales de la Copa del Mundo de Sudáfrica.

K'Naan Somali singer readies the release of their second album, where it will have the collaboration of two great musicians, Bono and Keith Richards.

The second board will be called African singer 'Country, God or the Girl' and will be released on May 1.

Jerry Hall ha dicho en un programa de alemán que los Rolling Stones están preparando una nueva gira mundial. Ha habido mucha especulación de que los Stones celebrarán su 50 aniversario en 2012 con una gira. Jerry Hall has said in a German program that the Rolling Stones are preparing a world tour. There has been muchspeculation that the Stones will celebrate its 50thanniversary in 2012 with a tour. The band members have said in recent interviews that the Stones have special plans for its 50th anniversary, but those plans have not beenannounced yet.

On February 21, 2012, Hall was a guest on German talk show "Gottschalk". He spoke about Andy Warhol and modeling in a good part of the interview, but this is what he had to say about the Rolling Stones:

Wood dice que sus amigos le habían estado preguntando por qué sintió la necesidad de estar tan cerca de él en Holland Park.

Wood says that his friends had been wondering why he feltthe need to be so close to him in Holland Park.
