The Rolling Stones , mas detalles de "50" , el libro de la banda para celebrar su 50ta aniversario
Como adelantó "Stones please Dont Stop" en las primeras horas del dia , aqui más detalles sobre el proximo libro de la banda, más grande del planeta
Bajo el título " The Rolling Stones : 50", la obra "cuenta la historia de cincuenta fantásticos años", indicaron en un comunicado los cuatro integrantes del grupo: el vocalista Mick Jagger, el guitarrista Keith Richards, el bajista Ronnie Wood y el batería Charlie Watts.
"Empezamos como una banda de blues tocando en los bares, y terminamos llenando los mayores estadios del mundo con un tipo de espectáculo con el que ninguno de nosotros siquiera soñaba en aquellos años", añadieron los Stones.
Hyperion señaló que el libro, cuyas tapas serán diseñadas por el propio Watts, saldrá a la venta en Estados Unidos y Canadá en el otoño y será el único autorizado por la banda para celebrar medio siglo en los escenarios.
El material inédito procede de los extensos archivos del rotativo británico Daily Mirror y hará un recorrido por toda la trayectoria de los Rolling Stones, que tocaron por primera vez el 12 de julio de 1962 en el Marquee Club de Londres antes de convertirse más adelante en uno de los grupos más populares de la historia del rock.
Según la editorial estadounidense, la obra "contará la historia de la banda de una manera que nunca antes se había hecho, en las propias palabras de sus miembros a través de imágenes especialmente escogidas por ellos mismos".
La presidenta de Hyperion, Ellen Archer, aseguró que "un aniversario como éste requiere un libro alucinante", en el que dijo que Jagger, Richards, Wood y Watts "se han esforzado para analizar el contenido desde todos los ángulos posibles" para lograr "un producto increíble" que hará las delicias de los aficionados.

Los artistas Marianne Faithfull, The Weeknd, M83, Dominique A y LFO se han incorporado al cartel del próximo festival San Miguel Primavera Sound 2012, que se ha celebrará del 30 de mayo al 3 de junio en Barcelona, ha informado hoy la organización.
La mítica Marianne Faithfull, musa del pop británico de los sesenta y autora de clásicos como "Broken English", actuará en el Parc del Fòrum, donde desgranará su torturado repertorio.

Mick Jagger sostuvo que todavía no hay nada confirmado para la celebración del aniversario de los Rolling Stones
El legendario cantante habló de los 50 años de la banda y de su presentación en la Casa Blanca
"Espero que ciertamente hagamos algo. Sería muy apropiado, yo pienso; y espero con ansia hacer algo. Pero no se ha agendado nada todavía" sentenció Mick Jagger en una entrevista con una agencia de noticias norteamericana, cuando le preguntaron por una posible gira por el 50 aniversario de los Rolling Stones.
A pocos días de tocar en la Casa Blanca junto a BB King y Jeff Beck, Jagger aprovechó para hablar del presidente Barack Obama y de esa experiencia que para él, fue algo fuera de lo común. Según Jagger, "fue una experiencia surrealista. Me encantó. Fue realmente inusual y extraño, pero muy disfrutable. Fui y traté de dar lo mejor de mí".

"I certainly do something. Would be very appropriate, I think, and I look forward to doing something. But it has notscheduled anything yet," Mick Jagger sentenced in an interview with an American news agency, when asked about a possible tour the 50th anniversary of the Rolling Stones.
A few days of play at the White House along with BB King and Jeff Beck, Jagger took to talking about President BarackObama and that experience for him, was something unusual.According to Jagger, "was a surreal experience. I loved it. It was really unusual and strange, but very enjoyable. I went and tried to give my best."
