The Gallery in Cork Street.
Me dijo: ‘Ahora no tenés excusa’

'People do not know that I am an artist. Playing music as part of a team effort is wonderful, but express individuality as an artist is very personal. Art is more powerful, it is an individual statement. "
The clean and jerk to make public his work as a painter seems to have come from several friends first conceptual artist Damien Hirst, who supported him in his career by buying materials to express themselves freely through their gestural features.
'Hirst might have decorated a whole school of art brushes, drawings and material you have. He said, 'Now you have no excuse'
And the American billionaire Bernie Chase, who is possessed of much of his work and offered himself as co-curator said: "Ronnie played and remained friends with everyone: George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, all iconic rockers. His art tells the story of rock and roll.
The comments by experts and fans support him in this painting artistic flair:
Sir. Peter Blake at the Royal Academy said that Wood deserves to be taken into account as a serious artist, "I believe that people are not given credit because it is a rock star, but draw and paint very well."
While Edward Lucie-Smith, an art historian said: "Ronnie is in the top flight musicians, but also a fully trained artist, and it shows."
Wood has studied art and a fixed studio in London but regularly travels through other parts of Europe to study the works of the great masters of painting and find in them inspiration. Regularly Madrid is seen by looking at the works of Goya and Velasquez or Paris, visiting the Musée D'Orsay.
Here can see some touches of his talent, which despite being part of another art form, never lose rocker trait, as the object you choose to portray the dynamic force and color
